Role Description
Teachers and trainers at PET-Xi Training deliver engaging, structured lessons and training sessions to diverse groups of learners, following program objectives and curriculum guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves managing classroom dynamics, maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. Teachers and trainers are also expected to:
- Complete relevant documentation
- Collaborate with colleagues
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coventry.
Qualifications
- Teaching and Education Skills
- Experience delivering structured learning to young people and/or adults
- Lesson Planning Skills
- Ability to design engaging, outcomes-focused sessions aligned with curriculum requirements
- Communication Skills
- Ability to explain concepts, motivate learners, and build positive relationships
- Training Skills
- Experience facilitating workshops, skills programmes, or vocational learning
- Relevant Qualifications
- PGCE, QTS, PTLLS/DTLLS, or equivalent are highly beneficial
- Additional Advantages
- Experience working with diverse learner groups, including those at risk of disengagement or with additional learning needs
- Strong classroom management, organizational skills, and a learner-centered approach
- Understanding of UK education frameworks, safeguarding practices, and equality, diversity, and inclusion principles
