We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and proactive Teaching Assistant to join our team, supporting teaching and learning. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and wellbeing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To work with the class teacher to foster a warm, caring, and friendly environment for the children within the classroom
  • To work with the class teacher in preparing work for the boys putting up displays and assisting as required within the classroom
  • Stay informed about all school policies and be aware of issues concerning individual students, ensuring effective communication among colleagues for their overall well-being.
  • To share in the responsibility for covering colleagues in their absence
  • Accompany and supervise children during off-site activities
  • Undertake lunchtime supervision, including the road crossing of pupils
  • Prepare and clear up resources and maintain resource areas
