Oak Grange Nursery and Primary School Teaching Assistant Opportunity
Oak Grange Nursery and Primary School is a growing school located in the Boulton Moor/Chellaston area of Derby. Situated between Field Lane and Snelsmoor Lane, the school serves both the established Fellowlands community in Chellaston and the expanding Snelsmoor Lane development.
Since opening its doors to Nursery and Reception children in September 2023, Oak Grange has continued to grow year on year. From September 2026, the school will include:
- Nursery
- Reception
- Year 1
- Year 2
- Year 3

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant who will play an integral role within our team. The successful candidate will help ensure that every child at Oak Grange feels happy, safe, valued and supported to thrive as they begin their educational journey in our Nursery and Primary School.
This post is primarily working 1:1 with a child with complex SEND, including physical and mobility needs. The role includes supporting learning, communication, independence, personal care, and full participation in school life. Relevant training will be provided.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
