In June 2023, the school had a full OFSTED inspection, and we are proud of our GOOD judgement with OUTSTANDING for Personal Development. We are proud of our SIAMS inspection from June 2024, recognising the excellent provision we offer our families. We have an excellent and genuine staff team and our pupils are a joy to work with. We are looking for someone who can provide interventions and support to our vulnerable pupils and provide cover for teachers in class.
It would be beneficial if you were interested in working alongside our SENDCO, to provide both pastoral and academic support. The successful candidate will work primarily within the EYFS and Key Stage 1 classrooms supporting children with targeted groups, interventions and additional needs. They will also be part of our Little Wandle Reading Squad who will support the teaching of reading from reception to Year 3. We are a compassionate school who will consider a flexible working pattern for the right candidate.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
