Longford CofE Primary School SEND Teaching and Learning Assistant

Longford CofE Primary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our team. Working alongside our staff, you will support our vision to promote a love of learning for all children within a caring and supportive community.
The role will primarily involve supporting one of our wonderful Year 2 pupils who experiences Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA). Alongside this, the successful candidate will provide wider support within our Year 2/3 class and contribute to strengthening inclusive practice across the school, ensuring that every child is supported to thrive and achieve success.

We are looking for someone who is patient, nurturing, and committed to helping children overcome barriers, while building positive relationships with pupils, families, and staff.
Hours: 22 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 2.00pm, to include 30 minutes for lunch.
Salary: Grade 7, £27,982 - £30,021 FTE
