Teaching Assistant: SEN Unit Primary School
Location: Victoria, Westminster, Central London
Pay: GBP90-GBP110 per day
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:00pm
Position: Full-Time
Start Date: September 2026
End Date: July 2027
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive mainstream primary school? We are recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school in Victoria, Westminster, working within a specialist SEN Unit supporting children across EYFS and KS1.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant who enjoys making a real difference to children with additional needs while working alongside an experienced and caring team.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, You Will
- Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism (ASD) and ADHD
- Work both 1:1 and with small groups of pupils
- Deliver targeted interventions to support learning and development
- Help create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment
- Work within a small SEN class of no more than 8 pupils
- Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists and the wider school team

What We're Looking For
We're Looking For a Teaching Assistant Who Has
- At least 1 year's experience supporting children with complex needs
- Experience in a school, tuition, or nannying environment
- A calm, patient and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
