Role: Teaching Assistant
Start Date: ASAP
Location: M8 Manchester
Contract: Full-time, long-term (Temp to Perm opportunity)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm (30-minute lunch break)
Pay: GBP 14.25 to GBP 16.65 per hour (PAYE or Umbrella)
About the Role: Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant
We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in M8 postcode on a full-time, long-term basis. This Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant role is to start ASAP and offers a clear pathway to a temp-to-perm position.
The successful Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant will initially work within a reception class, supporting pupils with their learning, development and daily routines. Further down the line, the Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant will transition into the Nursery class, making this an ideal opportunity for a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant with strong Early Years experience.
Key Responsibilities: Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant
- Provide high-quality classroom support as a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant
- Support children across Reception and Nursery
- Assist with phonics, early maths and play-based learning
- Support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural development
- Work closely with the class teacher and EYFS team as a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant
- Help create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment

Requirements: Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant
- A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Previous experience as a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant in a school setting (essential)
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Confident working across Reception and Nursery
- A caring, patient and proactive approach
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
