A welcoming and supportive primary school in Twickenham is looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a friendly primary school in Twickenham, supporting pupils across the classroom as well as providing some 1:1 support.

The Role

  • Full-time Teaching Assistant position
  • Supporting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities
  • Providing some 1:1 support for pupils who require additional help
  • Working with small groups to support learning and progress
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
  • Contributing to a positive learning environment within this Twickenham primary school

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous school or childcare experience is desirable
  • Comfortable providing 1:1 support when required
  • SEN Teaching Assistants and graduates are encouraged
  • Patient, positive and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Keen to develop their experience within a primary school in Twickenham
