A welcoming and supportive primary school in Twickenham is looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a friendly primary school in Twickenham, supporting pupils across the classroom as well as providing some 1:1 support.
The Role
- Full-time Teaching Assistant position
- Supporting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities
- Providing some 1:1 support for pupils who require additional help
- Working with small groups to support learning and progress
- Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Contributing to a positive learning environment within this Twickenham primary school
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous school or childcare experience is desirable
- Comfortable providing 1:1 support when required
- SEN Teaching Assistants and graduates are encouraged
- Patient, positive and enthusiastic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Keen to develop their experience within a primary school in Twickenham
