About the Role
The Governing Body of Rhos Primary School is looking to appoint an excellent and highly committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our skilled team of staff.
Requirements
- Qualified NVQ Level 2 - Early Years Childcare and Education, or equivalent.
- The post is for 30 hours, 39 weeks a year (term time only).
- The job will commence once all relevant checks are complete.
Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to work with pupils. It would be an advantage to have had experience of working with children in the primary sector, including those with additional learning needs.
Skills/Personal Qualities
- Enthusiasm, initiative, and self-motivation.
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
- Good people and communication skills with adults and children.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- A sound understanding of child development early years practice.
- The ability to support play-based learning.
- The ability to Observe, analyse, and respond to children’s learning, and contribute to written records.
- Willingness to continuously develop skills and knowledge.

Job Details
- 30 hours per week 39 weeks
- Temporary until 31st August 2027.
- The salary stated will be subject to a term time only adjustment for the commencement of employment outside of the start date of 1st September.
