SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School

Location: Hounslow, West London

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

Pay: £95–£115 per day

Start Date: September 2026

About the Role:

We are a trusted education recruitment agency working in partnership with a number of welcoming and high-performing primary schools across Hounslow. We are currently recruiting passionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with additional needs on both a day-to-day and long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Assisting children with SEN including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs
  • Helping deliver engaging and differentiated learning activities
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to support individual learning plans

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN
  • A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
  • Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential)
