Vision for Education is excited to offer a unique opportunity for passionate individuals looking to begin a career in education through our National Teaching Assistant Programme.
About The Role
We work in partnership with local schools to provide Trainee Teaching Assistants with high-quality training alongside paid, on-the-job experience.
Following a successful interview and completion of suitability, safeguarding, and identity checks, we will support you in securing a paid placement within a school. This placement will help you develop your skills, build your confidence, and shape your identity as an educator.
You’ll also have the opportunity to explore and specialise in areas such as EYFS, KS1, KS2, secondary education, and SEND provision.

Requirements
To be considered for the National Teaching Assistant Programme, you should:
- Have a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning
- Be committed to improving outcomes for all pupils
- Be kind, caring, and compassionate
- Be proactive with strong communication skills
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Be willing to complete required training and ongoing CPD
- Be prepared to obtain an Enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service
Minimum requirements:
- No formal qualifications required
- Two verifiable professional references
- Willingness to obtain a DBS on the Update Service
