Flexible Supply Teaching Assistant: Plymouth
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to gain flexible classroom experience in Plymouth schools? We are seeking reliable, adaptable individuals to support local primary, secondary, and SEN schools on a day-to-day basis. This role offers you complete control over your schedule—whether you want full-time hours or the flexibility to work just 3 days around other commitments.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting class teachers with learning activities and classroom management.
- Working 1-to-1 or in small groups with pupils who need additional support.
- Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and positive behavior.
- Creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people (in schools, sports coaching, childcare, or care settings).
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to different classroom settings and year groups at short notice.
- Reliability: Punctual and available for morning call-out communication between 07:30 and 08:30 when required.
- Requirements: An enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness for one) and two professional references.
What We Offer

- Competitive Pay: GBP92.56 - GBP95.00 per day (paid weekly).
- Schedule: 08:30 - 15:30 (Monday to Friday, school term time).
