Teaching Assistant Opportunity at Coxlease School
Coxlease School are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join their Education team now! We are looking for a versatile, resilient and committed Teaching Assistant, who can adapt their practice wherever necessary. Dependent on your location, there is the possibility of a role at the Post 16 Skills Centre in New Milton (if desired).

Coxlease School, located in the heart of the New Forest in Lyndhurst, is a specialised independent school for children aged 9 to 18 with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) and other related conditions/needs. Role Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, your primary objective will be to provide personalised educational assistance to a specific pupil in need of additional support. Your role will involve:
- Building a strong rapport with the pupil
- Understanding their individual needs
- Implementing strategies to enhance their learning experience
- Working collaboratively with the school staff, parents, and other professionals
- Creating a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the pupil's overall development and success

Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience supporting in a classroom setting
- A Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) which is appropriate to the teaching and learning environment of learners and young adults
