Our vibrant secondary school teams across Crosby are looking for resourceful Secondary Teaching Assistants (TAs) to help manage classroom energy and keep Key Stage 3 and 4 students focused on their goals.
Whether you want a steady full-year placement or total weekly control with local daily bookings, instant starts are open today across Crosby, Blundellsands, Waterloo, and Brighton-le-Sands.
Key Duties
- Support individual students and small groups during Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 lessons.
- Help students understand class tasks and stay focused on their learning.
- Maintain a positive, productive environment using calm behaviour strategies.
- Assist the class teacher with setting up learning activities and resources.
- Provide quick, clear feedback to the teacher on student progress at the end of the lesson.

Requirements
- Recent experience supporting young people in secondary schools, youth work, or care settings.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, resilient approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or readiness for one with us).
