Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant

We are a dedicated recruitment agency partnering with primary and early years settings, and we're looking for an exceptional Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to provide vital one:to:one support to a child. The Role: Your Impact
As a Teaching Assistant focused on SEN support, you will be the child's champion. Your day:to:day responsibilities will include:
- One:to:One Support: Focusing on both the child's academic progress and personal, social, and emotional development.
- Tailored Learning: Implementing specific learning and development plans under the guidance of the Class Teacher or SENCO.
- Emotional and Social Support: Offering a consistent and vital source of encouragement, helping the child feel secure and confident.
- Positive Environment: Fostering an inclusive, encouraging, and structured learning atmosphere.

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who is reliable, empathetic, and ready to jump in and make a difference.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, preferably within an early years or primary school setting.
- Qualifications: A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent, relevant experience.
- Professional Knowledge: An understanding of child development and best practices for SEN assistance.
- Compliance: An enhanced DBS check (ideally registered on the Update Service).
