Warren School is looking to appoint dynamic and friendly Teaching Assistants with a passion for improving outcomes and life experiences for pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) needs.

The school is seeking Teaching Assistants to help deliver the curriculum and help pupils achieve their potential. If you are a forward-thinking, highly motivated Teaching Assistant with a passion for learning, we encourage you to visit and discover how we can make a difference together.

The Consortium Trust demonstrates and implements safeguarding protocols in all aspects of their working practices and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, which will include social media checks.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:

  • Have experience working with SEND students
  • Use a range of strategies to support a diverse range of complex needs
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and innovative techniques
  • Can support a rich, high quality, stimulating, and enabling learning environment, where resources can be accessed appropriately by all pupils
  • Can support each pupil to access a broad, balanced, and relevant curriculum differentiated to meet individual needs
  • Can apply creative and diverse approaches to support the needs of all pupils and to develop a love of learning
  • Can support tasks relating to ‘real life’ experiences
  • Are willing to share good practice
  • Are looking for a challenge
  • Are passionate about supporting learning characteristics in pupils
  • Can adhere to policies and procedures and follow GDPR guidelines
  • Can maintain confidentiality
  • Have a desire to participate in school and Trust CPD opportunities
  • Have an awareness of Safeguarding
  • Are willing to contribute to the wider school through curriculum enrichment and extended school offer.
