About This Role
We are looking for a highly skilled, dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Apley Wood Primary Academy. You need to be committed to providing children with exceptional learning opportunities in a fun and caring environment, committed to teamwork, have a can-do attitude with a good sense of humor and be prepared to go that extra mile.
You will play an important role in supporting children to thrive within a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment. Working alongside the class teacher, you will help adapt and extend learning to meet the needs of individual pupils, including providing targeted support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Your role will include whole-class support as well as structured small-group and 1:1 activities, helping to ensure every child can access the curriculum and achieve their potential. We are looking for someone who can bring learning to life through practical, hands-on experiences and who is passionate about building children's confidence, independence and love of learning.
