Hours of Work:
- 16.25 per week.
Working Pattern:
- Part-time, term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service).
- The salary will be pro rata as the position is part-time/term-time only.

Role Description: Ashdown Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated, and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our thriving school community. Role Responsibilities: As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with teachers and support colleagues to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
- Provide effective support for individual pupils, small groups, and whole classes.
- Help pupils develop confidence, independence, communication skills, and a love of learning.
- Contribute positively to their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Support teaching and learning across the curriculum.
- Deliver targeted interventions.
- Adapt learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Support pupils with additional needs.

Qualifications and Experience: We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of working successfully with children in a school or similar educational setting.
- Is committed to delivering the highest standards of support for all pupils.
- Can build positive relationships with children, colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
- Has excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates resilience, flexibility, and a solution-focused approach.
- Shares our commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and equality.
