About Us
The Heath Academy Trust and Three Legged Cross First and Nursery School are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is committed to providing the best quality learning experience for our children in a personalised and exciting way. We need an enthusiastic, skilled, and motivated professional to join our learning-focused team. The successful applicant must enjoy working as part of a friendly and dedicated team.
Role Requirements

Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant Early Years NVQ3 qualification preferred
- NVQ 2 or suitable relevant experience will be considered
Continuous Professional Development
- Ongoing improvement and continuous support for staff with high-quality CPD
- Understanding the importance of whole school continuity and progression across all areas of our provision

- Three Legged Cross First and Nursery School is a small, friendly village school for children from 2 to 9 years, situated between West Moors and Verwood.
- Our school has large grounds with a number of field areas and playgrounds, along with a dedicated forest area and pond.

- Weekly forest learning sessions with our qualified Forest School Leader reinforce our commitment to good manners and the application of learnt skills in the outdoor environment.
- Maths mastery is taught through concrete, pictorial, and abstract approaches, backed up with high-quality textbooks to ensure embedded learning.
