Teaching Assistant September Start

Location: Bath

Pay Rate: £90-£100 per day (depending on experience, role, and qualifications)

Hours: Flexible part-time and full-time roles available during school hours from September

Hanson Recruitment is currently working with a wide range of schools across Bath and the surrounding areas, and we are looking to recruit enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join schools for the new academic year, starting in September.

We are seeking caring, motivated individuals who have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people to achieve their potential. Whether you are looking for a new role for September, gaining experience in education, or looking for flexible work alongside other commitments, we have opportunities to suit you.

You can choose the level of commitment that works best for you, from one day a week through to full-time positions. School hours are typically 8:00am-4:00pm, and all candidates are paid weekly.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Providing dedicated support to individual pupils, as well as supporting learning across the classroom
  • Helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally
  • Working closely with classroom teachers and school staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting behaviour management and encouraging positive social interactions
  • Following school policies relating to safeguarding, behaviour, and health and safety

Teaching Assistant Requirements & Attributes:

  • Experience working with children or young people in any capacity
  • A relevant qualification, or willingness to work towards one
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work during school hours (typically 8:30am-3:30pm), Monday to Friday during term time
