What is the Job Role?
Moat House School is a 2-form entry, primary school, situated in the North-East of Coventry and offers a good education within a caring school community, where children enjoy their learning. All of the staff are committed to our children to ensure they are being given opportunities to participate in a broad and balanced curriculum and encouraging them to achieve their full potential, in our vibrant school.
We have a strong commitment to professional development and strive to support people to be the best they can be in their roles in school. Induction and training (as required), will be provided to support the successful candidate.
The Headteacher and Governing Body at Moat House Primary School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, reliable, caring and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team.
You will support the class teacher and work with the children in the classroom, to help them access teaching and learning and achieve their full potential, this may include working with small groups of children under the guidance of the class teacher. You should have good literacy and numeracy skills and a good level of knowledge and understanding of SEND and experience working with children with a range of needs.

Hours
- 35 hours per week
- 8:30 am-4:00 pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
- Monday to Friday, term time only
Who Are We Looking For?
- An experienced Teaching Assistant (Minimum of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)
- A friendly team member, who is supportive and happy to work as part of a team
- Committed to support children and their families to establish positive relationships
