This posting is for one unionized contractual appointment. A Teaching Assistant is a McGill Graduate Student employed to assist the Course Supervisor as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom environment. Teaching Assistant Positions are governed by the Collective Agreement between McGill University and the Association of Graduate Students Employed at McGill (AGSEM).

Position Summary:

This requisition is for one position, at 45 hours, in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology. Effective dates of appointment are August 31 to December 19, 2026. Course dates are August 31 to December 4, 2026.

Responsibilities may include:

Regular class attendance may be required. Candidates who apply for this posting should be available during the scheduled class time for this course (Fall 2026 Thursdays from 6:05PM to 8:55PM)


Qualifications:

  • Must be a McGill PhD student with background in Inclusive Education
  • Background in Education for Teacher-Education Courses
  • myCourses experience may be required
  • Knowledge in French may be required
