About This Role

Teaching Assistant

Princecroft Primary School
Salary range: D4-D6, £26,016-£26,847 FTE
Actual Salary: £17,679 - £18,243 per annum
Contract: Maternity cover, part -time
End date: estimated – 31st August 2027 or whenever the original post-holder returns from their maternity leave
Working hours: 30 hours per week, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days)
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 3.15pm. This post includes a 15 minute and 30minute unpaid breaks each day.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and flexible individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at Princecroft Primary School. You will work closely with class teachers to support children's learning and development

The role involves contributing to a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom, supporting learning through a range of activities, and working collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals where appropriate. Strong communication skills, patience, initiative, and a commitment to helping every child achieve their potential are essential.

Princecroft Primary School is a small, friendly school and nursery for children aged 2 to 11, serving families in Warminster and the surrounding area.
