About the Role
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant and welcome applicants from both experienced teaching assistants and non-experienced teaching assistants.
The successful candidate will:
- Support classroom activities to ensure full engagement and full participation for all pupils
- Promote a positive and safe learning environment
- Provide opportunities for developing independence
- Monitor student progress and report back to the class teacher and SENCO
- Communicate effectively with staff members and parents regarding student progress
- Value all pupils as individuals and put them at the heart of everything you do
- Make learning fun and challenging
- Be able to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team
- Work in partnership with all stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils
- Follow child protection, health, safety, security, confidentiality and data protection policies and procedures, reporting any concerns to the appropriate person
