Emmanuel Middle School Teaching Assistant Opportunity
Emmanuel Middle School is seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible for 22hpw on a term time only fixed term contract until 31st August 2027. The role may include some lunchtime supervision duties.
Key Requirements
- Experience working with pupils with educational needs.
- Ability to work and liaise with the SENDCo and other agencies if required to develop and implement appropriate strategies.
Desired Qualities
- Enthusiastic and well-motivated.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Skills and experience to assist teachers in promoting high standards of achievement and behavior.
- Willingness to support the Christian ethos of the school.

Salary and Contract
- Actual Salary: £12,749 - £12,951 per annum (Grade 5 pay award pending).
- Part Time - Term Time Only for 22 hours per week and 38 weeks per year.
- Temporary basis until 31/08/2027.
- Approximate start date: 12-Oct-2026 or as soon as possible.

Safeguarding Checks
The school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted.
