About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking educational institution in the heart of Chigwell, Essex, is seeking a remarkable individual to fill the role of a full-time Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Classroom Assistant, SEN Support Assistant, or Pupil Support Assistant. With a generous daily rate ranging from £107 to £140, this is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated and skilled professional to make a lasting impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing tailored, one-on-one or small-group support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Assisting teachers in the delivery of engaging and effective lessons
  • Collaborating with the teaching staff to develop and implement personalised learning plans
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures student confidence and success
  • Adapting teaching techniques and resources to cater to the unique requirements of each student
  • Contributing to the overall wellbeing and personal development of our pupils

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications in education, SEN, or a related field (desirable)
  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability, creativity, and a problem-solving mindset
  • Commitment to continuing professional development and ongoing learning

As the ideal candidate, you will possess a deep-rooted commitment to supporting the diverse learning needs of our pupils, whether they require additional assistance in the classroom or specialised attention through our SEN (Special Educational Needs) programmes. Your ability to think on your feet, adapt to changing environments, and collaborate effectively with our teaching staff will be instrumental in fostering an inclusive and nurturing educational experience.
