TEACHING ASSISTANT – LEVEL 1

FIXED TERM CONTRACT UNTIL AUGUST 2027 IN THE FIRST INSTANCE

SUPPORTING CHILDREN WITH EDUCATIONAL HEALTH CARE PLANS

31.25 Hours per week, Term Time only (+ 5 training days)

Actual Salary £18,815.

All Saints CE Primary School is a caring and inclusive single form entry primary school serving a diverse and welcoming community.

We are looking to appoint a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to work with child/children who have Education Health Care Plans.

We are looking for a practitioner who is understanding, reliable, and dedicated, having experience in working with children with additional needs, and be an excellent role model for our pupils by demonstrating our school values and to help establish, nurture, and grow firm foundations.

  • Working Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday with a 45 min lunch break.
  • Position: Term time only plus 5 training days. If additional hours are required to attend meetings, notice will be given and additional payment may be claimed.
  • Support: Provided by the Class Teacher and SENCo on activities and strategies to support the child/children you will work with.

  • Safeguarding: All Saints CE Primary School is committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and adults, and expects all its staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The school will use online searches for all posts in line with the guidance from KCSIE 2025.
  • Medical Clearance: The post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
  • Qualifications: All applicants must be able to provide documentation to prove their qualifications (GCSE/GCE or equivalent) in Mathematics and English Language, and the right to work in the UK.
