Join Our Team
Newdigate Primary School is seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential and who shares our commitment to providing an inclusive, nurturing and inspiring learning environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to make a positive difference to the lives of our pupils.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Support teaching and learning across the school.
- Work with individuals and small groups of pupils to enhance learning and progress.
- Assist in the preparation of learning activities and classroom resources.
- Provide support for pupils with a range of educational, social and emotional needs.
- Help to maintain a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment.
- Promote pupils' independence, confidence and wellbeing.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Has experience of working with primary-aged children.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Has a positive, flexible and proactive approach to supporting children.
- Can work effectively as part of a team and use their own initiative.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Shares the school's values and high expectations for all pupils.
