BEACH COVE TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL II - FIXED TERM LINKED TO CHILD’S FUNDING
We are looking for an outstanding teaching assistant to work within our newly created Beach Cove Resource Base provision. This role will work closely with the Lead Teacher overseeing the provision, as well as the SENCO to support the educational needs of the students who access the Beach Cove.
We would like to find a teaching assistant who has significant experience of working with children with special educational needs, especially those who have Autism, ADHD. An understanding of trauma-informed practices, as well as how to support children with communication and interaction difficulties will be important. They will also be able to implement effective behaviour management strategies to support children who are dysregulated due to their individual needs.

The successful applicant will be required to work 30 hours and 50 minutes per week, Monday to Friday 8.40am - 3.20pm, with half an hour lunch break, 38 weeks per year. (Term time only) BCP Grade 4, pro rata. This will be a fixed term contract linked to the child’s funding until end of term, July 2027.
