Teaching Assistant – Level 2 SEND
Fixed-term contract to 31 July 2027, in the first instance.
Band F, scp 7-10
F:7 £27,274 to F:10 £29,071 (full-time salary) to work 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks of the year (term-time only, plus five days)
Actual starting salary commencing on F:7 is £20,514 per annum after pro rata.
We require a Teaching Assistant - Level 2 to join our friendly and proactive SEND team to work with KS3 and KS4 students, both in mainstream lessons and the school’s Learning Support Area to assist in the teaching and support of SEND students, both one-to-one and in small groups.

We are looking for an energetic, organised and proactive colleague who possesses a positive attitude and wants to work with pupils who have specific educational needs. A good level of literacy and numeracy skills is required and a relevant qualification, or previous experience of working in a similar environment, would be an advantage.
