Date Required: As soon as possible
Duration: Fixed term for 12 months initially

Post Grade and SCP: Grade 5 (SCP 7) £14.14 per hr
Hours: 22.25 hrs per week – term time only 43.60 weeks per year
Work Schedule:
- Monday 8.45 am – 12.00 pm
- Tuesday 8.45 am – 3.30 pm (1 hr unpaid lunch)
- Wednesday 9.30 am – 3.30 pm (1 hr unpaid lunch)
- Thursday 8.45 am – 3.30 pm (1 hr unpaid lunch)
- Friday 9.30 am – 12.00 pm
There may be some flexibility in the work schedule during afternoon.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support children across both KS1 and KS2. The teaching assistant will fulfil two roles:
- To work as a general TA to support classroom teaching and learning
- To work with and support an identified pupil in KS2 who has an EHCP, on an individual basis.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated member of staff who will have high expectations and be committed to keeping standards for our children high. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, creative, and enthusiastic. Some experience of working with children in Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 1 would be beneficial. The successful candidate will be someone who will support general classroom teaching and learning and also promote the learning and personal development of the identified pupil to whom you are assigned, to enable the pupil to make best use of the educational opportunities available to them.
The person appointed would be working under the guidance of the teaching staff, to support access to learning for pupils and to assist the teaching staff in the organisation and management of pupils.
