Teaching Assistant Level 2 (Temporary)
Location: Watling Street Primary School, Watling Street, Brownhills, Walsall, WS8 7LW
Hours: 25 hours a week, term time only, G4 (SCP 7-11) £15,344.34 - £16,354.98 per annum
Type of Contract: Temporary until July 2027 (may be extended subject to budget review)

We are seeking to appoint a kind, caring, flexible and hardworking person to join our dedicated team of Teaching Assistants to support our pupils. The successful candidate will be working 1:1 with SEN pupils, as part of their Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP). You will have the opportunity to work alongside our well-structured and supportive staff to help all our children enjoy, learn and achieve success. The ability to work as part of a team and under your own initiatives is important. The successful candidate must be patient, calm and flexible in their working practices.

This is a temporary contract which may be extended subject to a budget review. We offer support and an induction programme for all new staff, and a commitment to continued professional development.
The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post. Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils. The successful applicant will therefore be in possession of an Enhanced DBS certificate.
