This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our nursery team during a significant period of growth and development.
Following the recent expansion of our nursery provision to welcome 2-year-olds, we are looking for a skilled Early Years practitioner to work alongside our experienced and supportive team, helping to create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive and achieve their full potential.
We are seeking someone who has a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, sound knowledge of child development within both the birth to three age phase and the 3-4 years age phase, and experience of observing and assessing children's learning.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience of supporting children with additional needs and are passionate about ensuring that all children, regardless of their starting points, have the opportunity to flourish. The successful candidate will play an important role in providing nurturing, individualized support for some children with identified high needs, working collaboratively with families, the SENCo and external agencies to secure the best possible outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
