Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for work in Peterlee and the surrounding area?
Ripple Education is a local, teacher-led education agency working with schools across the North East. We’re looking for enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants who genuinely want to make a positive difference to children’s learning and school experience.

- A Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant equivalent
- Experience working with children in a primary school or education setting
- A positive, proactive approach to supporting children
- A good understanding of safeguarding
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and school staff
- The flexibility to work across different school environments
The role
Depending on the placement, you may:
- Support pupils individually, in small groups or within the classroom
- Work alongside teachers to support learning and development
- Help pupils with additional or SEND needs
- Support children’s emotional, social and physical needs
- Help create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
- Follow school and Ripple Education safeguarding procedures at all times

Salary: 99 - 110 GBP Per day
