Ripple Education is a local, teacher-led education agency working with schools across the North East. We’re looking for enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants who genuinely want to make a positive difference to children’s learning and school experience.

  • A Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant equivalent
  • Experience working with children in a primary school or education setting
  • A positive, proactive approach to supporting children
  • A good understanding of safeguarding
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and school staff
  • The flexibility to work across different school environments

The role

Depending on the placement, you may:

  • Support pupils individually, in small groups or within the classroom
  • Work alongside teachers to support learning and development
  • Help pupils with additional or SEND needs
  • Support children’s emotional, social and physical needs
  • Help create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Follow school and Ripple Education safeguarding procedures at all times
