About the Roles
Stoke Climsland School is looking to recruit caring, committed, and flexible individuals to join our effective and dedicated team. We are currently seeking candidates for two fulfilling roles:
-
One 1:1 Support Teaching Assistant: Working Monday to Friday on a full-time basis to provide interactive support for children with additional needs, facilitating their inclusion, safety, and learning.

One Part Time 1:1 Support Teaching Assistant: Working Monday to Friday, working mornings only to provide interactive support for children with additional needs, facilitating their inclusion, safety, and learning.
Both these roles offer an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in children's lives. These positions also include helping to supervise pupils during lunchtime, assisting with their meals, and leading playground activities or games.

- Facilitate Learning: Deliver interactive support to encourage academic growth and classroom engagement.
- Foster Inclusion: Create a safe, positive, and enjoyable school environment for all children.
- Supervise Lunchbreaks (Full Time Role): Assist pupils during lunchtime and supervise active play in the playground.
- Collaborate closely: Work in partnership with classroom teachers, parents, and outside agencies.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Ideally, experience working on a 1:1 basis with pupils who have additional needs (for the 1:1 role).
- Core Qualities: Sensitivity, patience, and the ability to use your own initiative.
- Teamwork: A desire to be a proactive part of a caring team, with a flexible approach to changing situations.
- Growth Mindset: Commitment to further professional training and skill acquisition.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with staff, parents, and external agencies.
