The SEN Teaching Assistant Role
As An SEN Teaching Assistant, You Will
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Help children access learning at their individual level
- Encourage communication, independence and social development
- Support pupils with their emotional and sensory needs
- Work closely with teachers and other SEN professionals
- Help create a safe, positive and engaging classroom environment
