Year 2 Teaching Assistant: Kensington and Chelsea

Start Date: October 2026

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Reeson Education is working on behalf of a highly regarded prep school in Kensington and Chelsea to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team from October 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children in their early years of education. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils learning, development and wellbeing, helping to create a positive, engaging and nurturing classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
  • Ideally have experience working within a prep school or independent school setting.
  • Have experience supporting children in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 2.
  • Be enthusiastic, caring and committed to supporting pupils to reach their full potential.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be proactive, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
