Located in Bromley, Kent, Breaside Preparatory School provides a rich learning environment for your son or daughter. Our curriculum will prepare your children for the senior schools of choice through a balanced and broadly based education, from their first days in Kindergarten through to the age of 11.

We believe in getting the basics right and teaching the core subjects with a mixture of traditional teaching styles with the more modern approaches to learning. Coupled together with a strong work ethic and an enriching learning environment, we are confident that we help each child to develop towards their full potential.

About Cognita

About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional Teaching Assistant to assist in providing a safe, secure, and stimulating learning environment for children. The successful candidate will support pupils’ learning and development, including those with Special Educational Needs, working across both group and individual settings. You will work within the standards and requirements of the Primary Stage Curriculum, supporting planning and delivering activities in Maths and Literacy, and helping pupils of all attainment levels achieve their full potential. The role involves monitoring progress, adapting learning activities in consultation with the teacher or SENCo, and contributing to pupil achievement plans. You will also encourage engagement in learning, promote high expectations, self-esteem and independence, and build positive relationships with pupils while acting as a role model and responding to individual needs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
