ALT Grade C - £19,417.99 to £19,568.43

We are looking for a caring and dependable Teaching Assistant to join the Primary Phase at Cromwell Community College, a caring and ambitious all-through school in Chatteris. Working alongside teachers, the successful candidate will:
- Encourage curiosity and independence
- Remove barriers to learning and help pupils grow in confidence both academically and socially
- Promote positive behaviour
- Support pupils' social and emotional wellbeing
- Help to create an inclusive classroom where every child can participate and make progress
We are seeking someone who builds positive relationships, works collaboratively and brings patience, good judgement and a genuine commitment to helping children succeed.

Summary Of Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals and small groups under the direction and supervision of teaching staff.
- Help pupils understand instructions, remain engaged and develop independence in their learning.
- Promote inclusion, positive behaviour, and pupils' social and emotional wellbeing.
- Prepare learning spaces and resources, and assist with supervision, visits, tests and personal care where required.
- Record relevant pupil information, provide feedback to teachers and contribute to observation and assessment.
