Teaching Assistant - South Nottinghamshire Academy
Redhill Academy Trust pay scale Band 7 scale points 32 - 36
Actual salary: £13,869 - £15,017 per annum (Full time equivalent: £27,004 - £29,239)
19.75 hours per week (3 days a week to be determined 08:15 - 15:00, 16:00 finish on a Tuesday) - Part time, Permanent, Term time only

We are looking for a teaching assistant to join our inclusive secondary school and play a key role in the classroom.
The successful candidate will be resourceful, empathetic, flexible, inspirational and forward thinking.
You will have highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, be able to inspire and motivate students and colleagues to achieve their best and be committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.

Your role…
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll:
- Work within the school/unit as part of a team, under the general direction of the Headteacher who will be responsible for the overall policy of the educational programme and for matters of control and discipline within the appropriate articles of Government.
- Be a member of a multi-disciplinary team, under the leadership and supervision of the teacher. In co-operation with the teacher and under the agreed educational plan, the postholder will work to a level reflected by the grade of the post.
