Northlands Primary School

The Headteacher is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed SEND Teaching Assistant who demonstrates excellent classroom practice.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an excellent SEND practitioner with high expectations for all pupils.
  • Has experience of supporting children with a range of SEND, with experience of autism and communication needs particularly welcomed.
  • Is passionate about creating an inclusive, nurturing and purposeful learning environment.
  • Can support the planning, delivery and evaluation of targeted interventions and personalised learning.
  • Will contribute to the development of our SEND Hub and help us continually improve the quality of SEND provision.
  • Can share effective SEND practice and support the development of inclusive practice across the wider school.
  • Welcomes feedback, reflects on their own practice and is committed to continued professional development.
  • Is fully committed to the safeguarding and protection of children and young people.
