SEND Teaching Assistant Level 2
Grade 5 SCP 7
22.5 hours per week, Term Time only (43.60 Weeks Per Year)
Working days: 22.5 Hrs (3.5, 3.5, 6, 3.5, 6, 0, 0) - Monday to Friday
Fixed term until 31/08/2027
Required November 2026
Working under the guidance of the teaching staff and nominated teaching assistants and within an agreed system of supervision, to support access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom, including support for individual Education Health Care Plans (EHCP’s). This could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas, and those who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning. Work with pupils will be carried out in or out of the classroom.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our school.
You must be:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
- Be flexible to work across the whole primary phase as necessary, focusing on 1:1 work with SEND pupils.
- Have high expectations with a drive to achieve the best possible outcomes for all our pupils.
- Will be able to work well as part of a team and share our caring and sharing ethos.
