About The Role

This full-time Teaching Assistant role at a specialist SEND school in Birmingham offers £92 to £115 per day through The Education Network Birmingham. The successful candidate will support pupils with additional needs through classroom, small-group, and one-to-one assistance, helping them access learning while building confidence and independence. Working alongside teachers and SEND professionals, duties include adapting resources and promoting positive behaviour. Specialist SEND School – Birmingham

The Education Network is looking for a committed and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who wants to work closely with pupils with additional needs and play a genuine part in their learning, development, and day-to-day success.

You will provide a combination of classroom, small-group, and individual support, working alongside experienced teachers and SEND professionals to help pupils access learning and develop their confidence and independence.

  • Provide targeted support to pupils with SEND across the school day
  • Work 1-2-1 and with small groups where required
  • Support pupils to access learning and classroom activities
