Role Overview
As a Teaching Assistant, you will collaborate with our teaching and support staff to identify and support pupils within vulnerable groups, particularly those with special needs. Your role is crucial in helping these pupils become independent learners, stay focused and engaged in lessons, and understand various tasks and activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in our Hazel room (engagement provision), offering 1:1 and group support to pupils.
- Help prepare the classroom and learning spaces throughout the day.
- Create displays and exhibitions of the children's work.
- Prepare for different activities.
- Support pupils who need extra help to complete tasks or engage with schoolwork.
- Monitor for challenging behavior and help promote positive behavior.
- Offer emotional support to aid pupils in their emotional and social development.
- Inform other staff about any issues.

- Passionate about supporting all children to do their best.
- Trustworthy, enthusiastic, full of energy, well-organized, and self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong rapport with children and parents/carers.
- Very good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Passionate about making learning irresistible for children.
- Ability to adapt to support children’s individual needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
- Committed to improving your own practice.
