- Salary: Scale 3, Term Time Only + 5 PD Days
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Student Engagement Programme (SEP). Working under the guidance of the SEP Tutors and senior staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students to access learning and achieve their full potential. This is a rewarding opportunity to work both within and beyond the classroom, providing tailored support to pupils, including those with additional needs, while contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Build constructive relationships with students, encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence.
- Support the delivery of learning activities.
- Help implement individual education and behaviour plans.
- Provide feedback on student progress.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, orderly, and stimulating environment.
- Promote positive behaviour.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents/carers to support student development.

Requirements
- Experience working with children.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Good understanding of supporting learning, including the use of ICT.
- Ability to adapt activities to meet individual student needs.
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and continuous professional development.
