Teaching Assistant - 25 hours per week
(Mon-Fri 8.50am to noon and 1.15pm to 3.05pm)
Plus
Midday Supervisor – 2.5 hours per week
(Mon-Fri Noon to 12.30pm or 12.45pm to 1.15pm)
Weeks per year
School term-times, Trust Training Days and one INSET day per year

About The Post
We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our support staff team at Christchurch Infant School.
We are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity to:
- Provide a magical experience for our children
- Develop, maintain and apply knowledge and understanding of pupils’ general and specific learning needs. To ensure that support is given to them at an appropriate level
- Seek to ensure the promotion and reinforcement of pupils’ self-esteem, appropriate levels of effort and behaviour and to guide students to become independent learners.
- Supervise and assist pupils during their midday break and to ensure their safety, welfare and general conduct. To assist in the setting up and removal of furniture where necessary.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.
