About the Schools

Torfield School and Saxon Mount School are part of a successful special academy trust for primary (Torfield) and secondary aged (Saxon Mount) children and young people with autism, communication, and associated learning difficulties. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated candidates to join our academy trust and work either in our primary or secondary school as there are positions available at both Torfield and Saxon Mount.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting teachers in curriculum delivery
  • Preparing resources
  • Providing lunchtime supervision

Candidates will need to demonstrate an understanding of children and young people with special needs. Candidates with experience or qualifications in supporting communication and/or behavioral difficulties will be well placed to apply, although those with other qualifications/experience may also be considered.
