Redruth School Teaching Assistant
Redruth School is a successful school in Cornwall and we would like someone who is passionate about learning to join us on our journey to outstanding. You would be joining a vibrant, committed workforce in beautiful West Cornwall.
We are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants in both our main school and SEN unit - the Area Resource Base (ARB), to take a pro-active role in the support of the educational, social and physical needs of our students. The successful candidates will support the curriculum and the school through the provision of assistance to the classroom teacher in the practical organisation of class activities and small group work.
Applicants will need:
- the ability to work with young people
- excellent communication skills
- self-motivation and a friendly manner
- a high standard of computer literacy and excellent organisational skills
- to be passionate about promoting learning and achievement for all
- the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- English and Maths GCSE grade C/4/NVQ level 2 or equivalent.
