Working collaboratively with curriculum, quality and leadership teams, you will play a key role in supporting and evaluating the organisation’s TLA strategy to drive continuous improvement in teaching practice and learner outcomes.
You will provide coaching, mentoring and professional development support to teaching staff, while contributing to the planning, delivery and evaluation of CPD and other staff development activities. The role also supports self-assessment, quality improvement planning and inspection readiness, helping to implement and monitor actions that enhance teaching, learning and assessment across the organisation.
As our Coach, you will have a proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching, learning and assessment (feedback via observations). You will be experienced in creating engaging, innovative learning experiences through the effective use of digital tools and educational technology. I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
