Job Title: Teaching Fellows in Psychology
The School of Psychology, University of Southampton, is seeking to appoint Teaching Fellows in Psychology, initially on a 12-month Fixed Term basis, to primarily contribute to both the delivery of our undergraduate and postgraduate education and also to our research.
About the Role
We are seeking applications from individuals whose expertise will help us deliver excellence in education across our undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio of programmes, and whose research interests and expertise is aligned with our four research centres (https://www.southampton.ac.uk/research/areas/psychology). We particularly welcome applications from candidates with previous teaching experience in Psychology at either undergraduate and/or postgraduate level, and whose research can contribute to one or more of our cross-centre thematic priorities in adult and child mental health (e.g., mood/anxiety disorders, neurodevelopmental conditions, psychosis), digital interventions and health technologies, and individual, relational, and collective self (e.g., personality and wellbeing, relationship processes and sexual behaviour, culture and intergroup relations). We will consider candidates applying for full-time and part-time roles.
Key Requirements
- Hold a doctorate in psychology (or be about to submit your PhD in Psychology) or have equivalent professional qualifications and experience
- Be able to evidence excellence in teaching and research in the areas highlighted above commensurate with your level
- Share our ambition to deliver high-quality education, research, and training in psychological science
